Congrats to the Lady Lancers on their 6th win this season.  Sonya Konon and Milly Grujic both had 6 points, meanwhile Jordyn Rapp, Mya Hicks and Jaden Brown added 4 points each. Sinia Cureton had 2 points and Narissa Niarhos made her personal best 9 points last Friday night. The Lady Lancers are 6 and 6 and will take on Marysville this Friday Night. Congratulations to the Lady Lancers as they continue their win streak. The girls are now 5 and 5 in the season. The defeated Marysville on Friday with a final score of 33-28. Angelina Chapa was the leading scorer with 8 points, Sonya Konon and Milly Grujic both added 6 points too. The Lady Lancers continued the momentum on Tuesday with a big victory over rival LCN. LC won 19 - 14, Angelina Chapa and Milly Grujic both led the team with 6 points each, Narissa Niarhos also added 4 points and Jaden Brown hit a 3 pointer to put keep the lead for the Lancers. The girls next home game is Tuesday January 22 at 4:00. Come support our Lady Lancers as they take on Lake Shore.

Congratulations to the Freshman Lady Lancers on their victory over Warren Mott on Tuesday January 8. The Lady Lancers came out on fire in the New Year. By the end of the first half they scored a record high of 39 points, the final score was 64 - 8. Overall the ladies played wonderful together, communicating and crashing the boards for rebounds. Angelina Chapa and Sonya Konon had a season high of 16 points each, Narissa Niarhos scored 12 points, Jordyn Rapp added 11 points, Triasure Golden contributed 5 points and Sinia Cureton and Taylor Krolcyk also had 2 points each. Great start to the 2019 season Lady Lancers!!!

       Congratulations to the Freshman Basketball team on the first win over LCN at home. The Lady Lancers bounced back after a 0-6 lead by the Crusaders at the end of the first period. The girls really pulled together as a team and started to do the small things. By the end of the third period the Lancers were boxing out the Crusaders and taking good shots. LC was leading 9-8. It was a close game and the Lady Lancers held on to the lead and ended the game with a victory score of 17-14! Milly Grujic was the leading scorer with 6 points, Narissa Niarhos and Triasure Golden each added 4 points and Jordyn Rapp contributed 3 points as well. There were multiple steals and fast breaks made possible by Taylor Krolczyk and Sonya Konon. Great work ladies and keep up the hard work!

The Lady Lancers played their first game of the season last night at Fraser High School. Unfortunately they did not come out with a victory but the definitely showed great improvement and heart. The Lady Lancers never gave up and played tenacious defense through out the entire game. Mya Hicks had multiple steals through out the game and Sonya Konon and Jordyn Rapp played great defense causing Fraser to turn over the ball. Additionally Milly Grujic, Narissa Niarhos and Sinia Cuerton were making great cuts down low and setting up screens for the offense to move around. All of the ladies were ready to play and take shots when they had the opportunity. Jaden Brown got the team pumped in the third quarter when she drained a three pointer! Overall the Lady Lancers are excited to get back in the gym and play LCN on Thursday!
