Lancer volleyball started out their season with a quad at Port Huron. They went 1-2 with loses coming from Port Huron and Utica, and earned the win against Marine City. 

In the first game, against Port Huron, the Lancers started slow, but found a rhythm enough to keep up with Port Huron. However, in the end it was not enough and lost both sets 19-25 and 17-25. Alana Powell, Grace Amoe, and Lauren Kline hit above a .200 clip.

The Lancers pushed Utica to three sets, but ultimately losing the game deciding set 13-25, 26-24, and 9-15. After being down by 10 in the second set, Hannah Verhaeghe changed the narrative with 8 aces in a row leading us to the second set win.

It was a slow start against Marine City. After dropping the first set the Lancers came back strong and clean winning the second and third sets 23-25, 25-18, 15-9. Grace Amoe hit 0.400 with 10 kills on 20 attempts only having 2 errors. Anna Tallman followed with 7 kills, Verhaeghe 4, Alexa Ward 3, Alyssa Fournier 2.
