The Lady Lancers had a great swim meet Thursday night against Lamphere High School. It came down to the last race, but unfortunately LC fell short. However, the meet was a close one and the ladies had great swims. 

However, many swimmers still received best times in their events, including: Jamie Failer in the 50-yard freestyle, earning herself another county qualifying time, Anya Periappuram in the 50-yard freestyle, Mary Glavich in the 500-yard freestyle, and Yesenia Castano in the 100-yard backstroke.

Many swimmers swam events that they have not yet swam this season, including: Sara Carrette in the 200-yard IM and 50-yard freestyle, Maddy Jecewski in the 50-yard freestyle, Autumn Daniels-Salame in the 100-yard butterfly, and Miley Mieczkowski in the 500-yard freestyle, earning herself another county qualifying time.

Wish our ladies luck as many of them will be competing in the Macomb County wide swim meet this Saturday at LCN. They will be competing against all the other high schools in the county.
